The Mountains
Growing up in the mountains has given me a massive playground to learn to capture images that tell stories. It’s a massive canvas full of wonders great and small waiting to be seen.
Below are some of my favorite mountain images and a brief description of the moments behind them.
This image is taken right in the mouth of Alaska Basin. It's my favorite place to camp and always has the most incredible show of wildflowers.
The Frank-Church Wilderness in Central Idaho had some of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen.
Sometimes I call this the best photo I've ever taken. It's from Delta Lake in Grand Teton National Park, one of the most picturesque locations to which I've ever been fortunate enough to bring my camera.
String Lake in Grand Teton National Park is a family favorite location, with some incredible scenery to boot.
Believe it or not, this is an image of the Grand Teton, taken from Mt. Meek pass. The clouds and everything else lined up perfectly for this shot. It's a surreal landscape that looks even more impressive when you're there.
